None 3.0 Installation Instructions ______________________________________________________________________ 3.1 This eFix should be applied to the following configurations: Director Server 2.2 Director Server 2.2 with Service Pack 1 Universal Manageability Services with Director Support 2.2 Universal Manageability Services with Director Support 2.2 and Service Pack 1 *NOTE: This eFix is only required on systems that have IBM Director support installed. The eFix needs to be applied to the Director Server only if it is being managed by another Director Server and Session Support needs to be disabled. 3.2 This eFix is to be applied to the following operating systems: Windows 2000 Server Windows 2000 Professional Windows NT 4.0 Server Windows NT 4.0 Workstation Windows ME Windows 98 SE Windows 98 Windows 95 3.3 Primary installation method: Run IC30819.exe This will automatically extract the necessary files and start the eFix installation process. Follow the prompts to complete the installation *NOTE: This eFix requires administrator privileges to install. It is recommended that the Director Support Program be stopped prior to installing this eFix however, if it has not shutdown then the eFix will stop the service. After the installation of the eFix is complete, an attempt will be made to restart the Director Support Program. If the service does not start properly, restarting the operating system should resolve the issue. To stop the Director Support Program under the indicated operating system please enter the following command without quotes at Command Prompt and press enter. Windows 9X and ME: "twgipc shutdown" Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 : "net stop twgipc" 4.0 Configuration Information ______________________________________________________________________ 4.1 This eFix is intended for version 2.2 and 2.2.1 of the configurations listed above in section 3.1 and 3.2. This eFix is not intended for use with other versions of the product and may cause serious functionality problems or data loss if misused. Do not install this eFix on versions or configurations other than those listed in this readme. 4.1.1 The placement and configuration of the TCPIP.INI file has not significantly changed since Netfinity Director 2.12. If under Network Driver Configuration TCPIP(all adapaters) has been selected then a single TCPIP.INI file should be created in the %NFD_HOME%\data directory.
