This self-extracting zip file adds support for recently released ThinkPad models and a new mini-PCI combo adapter. Do the following after installing LCCM Service Pack 4: 1.Rename the \LCCM\CLNTFILE\IMGWIZ\W98DRV, \LCCM\CLNTFILE\IMGWIZ\W98DRV2, and \LCCM\CLNTFILE\IMGWIZ\W98SED2 directories (e.g., to \LCCM\CLNTFILE\IMGWIZ\W98DRV.ORG, \LCCM\CLNTFILE\IMGWIZ\W98DRV2.ORG, and \LCCM\CLNTFILE\IMGWIZ\W98SED2.ORG), because these directories contain some read-only files. 2.If you have made any changes to the \LCCM\NETWORK.LST file, rename it to \LCCM\NETWORK.ORG. If you have made any changes to the \LCCM\CLNTFILE\DEFAULTS\W2K.LCA file, rename it to \LCCM\CLNTFILE\DEFAULTS\W2K.ORG. 3.Run LCTP.EXE to unzip the new files into your LCCM server. Note that this file assumes that you installed LCCM 2.5.1 using the default C:\LCCM directory. If you used a different directory, enter your directory name in the WinZip dialog window. 4.If applicable, update the \LCCM\NETWORK.LST file with your changes (from \LCCM\NETWORK.ORG). If applicable, update the \LCCM\CLNTFILE\DEFAULTS\W2K.LCA file with your changes (from \LCCM\CLNTFILE\DEFAULTS\W2K.ORG). 5.Create a new LCCM unattended-install profile for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000 (i.e., but only for the operating systems that you install with LCCM). Select the "Copy new operating system files" check box on the "Unattended Operating System Files Selection" window.
