The system hangs at "Starting Windows 95" when the Token Ring cable is disconnected. 2. When both adapters are actively connected to the network, disconnecting the Token Ring cable, or having the Token Ring network go down also causes the Ethernet connection to be dropped or lost. PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS: This tip applies to IBM PC300GL Series 6275/6285 systems preloaded with Windows95 and configured with both Ethernet and IBM Wake-on-LAN Token Ring adapters. FIX: Download and install the updated IBM Wake-on-LAN Token Ring device driver, filename QC7T05A.EXE.
