H164906:  REVISION LEVEL OF DIAGNOSTICS IN SYSTEM SET-UP NEVER CHANGES


 TEXT:

 Revision level of Diagnostics in system set-up never changes.

 SYMPTOM:

 Enter system set-up by pressing F1. Select the System
 Information option and go to Product Data. This screen should
 have the revision level of the Diagnostics. After flashing the
 new Diagnostics, go back and check the revision level. It will
 remain unchanged until Version 23A.

 PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

  - The system is a Netfinity 7000 M10 server, Type 8680,
 any Model.
  - Diagnostics pass

 FIX:

 A permanent fix will be available in Diagnostic Version 23A.

 WORKAROUND:

 There is no workaround until a permanent fix is found. Ignore
 the fact that revision level is not being updated since the
 code actually gets updated. If you check the system
 configuration screen, it will show a new date. Which will
 indicate the updated code is installed. Also, the new version
 level is viewable if you go to the "About Screen" in
 diagnostics.
