H165698: 9086001 - SHARING IRQS MAY CAUSE UNPREDICTABLE RESULTS SYMPTOM: When installing a Netfinity ESCON Adapter (p/n9086001), unpredictable results may occur if the adapter shares IRQs. Possible problems could be as follows: - Systems Network Architecture (SNA) addresses would not come online to the host unless Communication Server for NT (CS/NT) was up with those addresses configured in a link. - With CS/NT up, the addresses would come online to the host, but a session could not be established to CS/NT. The host Physical Unit's (PU's) stayed in preqc status, and the CS/NT link did not activate. Eventually, CS/NT operations panel showed a big X mark through the ESCON Data Link Control (DLC). These are only examples of possible problems. Others may occur.
