USB Enhanced Performance and USB Enhanced Performance Wireless keyboard driver for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000, XP, or Vista Version 2.0.1.0 Installation Readme This package installs an updated Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, or Vista device driver for the USB Enhanced Performance and USB Enhanced Performance Wireless keyboards. This update requires approximately 50MB of space on your hard drive. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the package ======================= 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Extracting the package ====================== 1. Click Start, click Start Search. 2. Type v1kyb02us17.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere. This will locate the file you just downloaded. 3. Double-click the v1kyb02us17.exe icon. You may see a dialog stating "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog, click Continue. 4. Click Next. Read the license agreement. 5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 6. Click Next. 7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\Enhancedkeyboard\v1kyb02us17. 8. Click Next. The necessary files will be extracted to your hard drive. 9. Click Finish. Installing the package ====================== 1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run. 2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\Enhancedkeyboard\v1kyb02us17\Setup.exe, then click OK. The setup program will run. Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot your system when done. Silent installation ------------------- 1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run. 2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\Enhancedkeyboard\v1kyb02us17\Setup.exe /s /v/qn. 3. Click OK. Uninstalling the package ======================== 1. Click Start, then click Control Panel. 2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program. 3. Right-click USB Enhanced Performance Keyboard, then click Uninstall/Change. You may see a dialog stating "Windows needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog, click Continue. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation procedure.
