Solaris Package Archive
tcsh.6.09
Mark <mark@ibiblio.org>
What is it
tcsh is an enhanced but completely compatible version of the Berkeley UNIX C
shell, csh(1). It is a command language interpreter usable both as an
interactive login shell and a shell script command processor. It includes a
command-line editor, programmable word completion, spelling correction, a history
mechanism, job control and a C-like syntax.
A shell is a religious issue with most unix people, but for what it's worth I
have implemented tcsh as my default shell.
When upgrading, try not to be running tcsh as you'll most likely be logged
out of the system when you remove the shell you're running!
